History
Holleman has recently celebrated 10 years of activity on the Romanian market during which period, within the company a series of positive transformations have taken place. These changes are now providing a much higher quality standard of transport services to all our clients.
- 1997 - The company is set up with Holleman Holding BV Holland, being the major shareholder. The company begins activities with a single Iveco Turbostar truck.
- Almost immediately, we invested in a competitive fleet and start providing highly complex transport services.
- We expanded rapidly and soon became one of the significant heavy transport companies in Eastern Europe. All this because of the quality of service we provide, our reliability and primarily, keeping to the contracts made to our clients.
- 2001 - We transported the Christmas tree that Romania offered as a gift to His Sanctity, Pope John Paul II. The height of the tree (or length on trailer) was 24m and it measured at the bottom 9.5m in diameter, and that without packaging.
- 2003 - The current general manager of the company acquires the entire stock of Holleman Holding BV. An information system to manage special transport is implemented.
- 2004 -Half of the company’s stock is held by the company Peter Schwandner Transport + Logistik GmbH in D-92536, Pfreimd, close to Regensburg, a strategic area for West-to-East traffic. The presence of the German investor was a revelation and brought a new dimension to the business. The remaining stock is still owned by the same Romanian founder.
- 2005 - 2006 -The vehicle fleet develops further. Before we could provide transport for 55 tons, now we are able to transport 315 tons with equipment that is registered in Romania. Higher performance is reached with equipment specifically provided by our German partner.
- 2006 - Holleman penetrates into the Bulgarian market.
- 2007 - We celebrate our 10th anniversary since setting up Holleman in Romania and begin with the construction of new and modern halls and offices which, are intended to provide an even better quality to our services.
- 2007 - We inaugurated a new Holleman subsidiary in the Republic of Moldova, i.e. Holleman East Srl.
- 2008 - Holleman Transport & Project Cargo begin operations in Belgrade, Serbia.
